    Losing to bottom feeders will be Tomlin's legacy

    He can take that "the standard is the standard" BS rhetoric and shove it up his butt.

    In his pregame interview, he mentioned the fact that its Monday night football as an excuse for guys to be motivated or something close to that.

    How about being motivated because you should be embarrassed about last weeks loss? Or motivated because you need this game to be tied for first in the division. Nope... motivated because its "Monday Night Football"
    Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

      You know who's motivated? Every bottom feeder team that plays us. They know this is a chance to make a statement and we will hand them the ability to do so.

                      They may have won, but is that really good football? Le'Veon Bell bailed them out tonight with vision, precise cuts and then some power, the safeties and corners didn't want any part of him in the 4th quarter he was delivering some blows.

                        I was losing faith and had a strong negative feeling. We need more consistency and those missed opportunities in the redzone is an absolute kick in the mc nuggets for the team. I'll take some crow pot pie lol

                          Was it good football?...In a word - yes. The Titans had a great gameplan, played their hearts out & in the end, when it counted our team executed & took the game over. Go back & watch how brutally efficient our O-line was - they found something & stuck with it despite the recent success with the pass & in the end you have a Steeler offense with the first 200yd. RB in the NFL this year.
                          It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust & sweat & blood...

                              They played a quarter of good football, prior to the 4th quarter it was pretty pedestrian all around, including Ben. I always believe they play hard, but playing hard and playing good can be mutually exclusive and for 3 quarters it was. It wasn't good enough football to be playing in January IMO, there are some things that need to get straightened out on the offensive line from a communication standpoint, the skill players looked good save for some poor decisions by Ben (missing Archer and Wheaton deep), the secondary is in disarray (or, at least it looks that way), JH still seems to be the best LB on the team (that isn't good) and Keisel seems to still be the best defensive lineman on the team (and, that isn't good).

                              Overall, I think they're good enough to get into the playoffs and maybe some of these things will get worked out by then. The bye week is coming at a good time for them.
