The point is, that Watt would be told to occupy blockers.

If he was a stand-up OLB? He'd be wasting away in coverage just like Worilds is now.

Okay...Watt has less experience fleeing from the police.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Ah yes the annual wasting away of Jason Worilds massive talent.

        Please.

Or, he would not...we can conjecture all day...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

They paid Worilds almost $10 mil this season because of how he rushed LAST season.

Now he's not rushing. So WHO told him to go to coverage?

Wouldn't be the first time there is a disconnect between why the front office pays a player, and then the coaching staff handles him differently since 2007.

they paid him because it was a "prove it" deal that the final 8 games were no fluke. They didnt have to commit long term but they didnt cut themselves short on experienced bodies.....hes still underwhelmed how hes done his whole career, hes a rental

How can he "prove it" while in coverage?

Well, he's been pretty much useless when he does rush, but he did get that cool INT a few weeks ago...

No he hasn't. He pounded Luck the entire game despite not getting a "sack" in it.

His problem is he's not rushing nearly enough. They wasted $10 mil for him to serve this role.

that isn't true... he was effective the last few games when he rushed the QB.

I apologize. When you add the caveat, "the last few games", then I agree he has been effective.

He does have other responsibilities too...but hes been rushing most of the time, rushing or being abused in the run game

Round 1) Pittsburgh Steelers: Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State

Cortez Allen was so bad against the Colts that he was actually trending on Twitter. The Steelers are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position, and they're definitely getting one of the better players available.

Holliman declared... But, honestly, I've changed my mind. It's what i knew already, but, have had opportunities to confirm. I don't want him. He got a lot of INT's, but, has questionable technique, is out of position more than he should be (did lead to extra INTs) and is a sub-par tackler.

I'll pass... (I know.. Scary, coming from DeVille, right?)
