    Steelers 2015 Draft possibilites

As far as pure numbers, size, and athleticism is concerned, these two will get a lot of looks.

Hau'oli Kikaha--6 ft 3 246 LB UW 16.5 sacks so far this year and 33 overall the past 2 years

Gerod Holliman S Louisville 13 INT's this year (5 in his last two games)

And "IF" Holliman or Landon Collins S Alabama declares, they would be hard not to take a hard look at. In my opinion.

I am loving the idea of Shawn Oakman or Trae Waynes. Both may be out of reach though

Dude, I keep seeing Holliman get picks and initially, i was like, "dude, it's luck"... Turns out, that mofo just finds the ball. Still more a fan of Calvin Pryor from last year because in addition to his coverage, he brought the wood.

In other Louisville news, WR DeVante Parker has done too much too soon after his injury. I was hoping our Steelers would be able to snag him on day 2 due to his injury... Doubt he'll make it out of day 1.

Will either of these guys be available at 1.32?

I think the fact that Kikaha has already torn his ACL twice would scare me off too much...

No more OLBs. They have to sink or swim with Worilds and Jones. Need help on the back end and at DE.

Hopefully they're drafting for a 4-3 next year.

There is probably a 50-50 chance at best that Worilds is back next year.

I would hope so, but won't hold my breath unless they make a move by pushing LeBeau into retirement. The reality is with Worilds being a free agent we don't have the strength and depth to continue to have a top notch 3-4 defense (which I am OK with if we have the talent). We can't draft 3-4 LBs every year and then wait a couple years for them to develop like we have with Worilds and J Jones.....and we still aren't sure what we have with either of them. It is not an efficient method of talent replacements in a cap driven league as we saw with what we were forced to do with Worilds and his contract. While the LeBeau "bootlickers" want to brand me as a LeBeau "hater" those who actually read what I have written over the years will know my issue has always been talent replacement and the too slow transition of players into what I believe is LeBeau's overly complex system.

It's so far off but I would believe we will be drafting a cb in round 1 or 2 if not both come the spring. Defense early and often in 15. A few of our oldies but goodies on D can not hang on much longer.

Even if DL retires is DC not going to be handed to Butler? So I figure he will still run a 3-4 base? Need some more talent. Used to get really good 3-4 D players 3rd rd back. Now need to pull the trigger in the 1st/2nd for the same type of players. Also there was some luck to land such good players. And that luck has switch over to the offensive for a while now. AB 6th rd, many 3rd WR's. Serviceable O-line men undrafted players. Also with the game is changing the D is also changing. So is the decision on which position is worth a premium pick.

I wouldn't be shocked by an OLB, depending on Worilds progress. Frankly, I'd be intrigued to see Shazier moved outside and another ILB taken.

Also anxiously awaiting performance of the rook NT...

First pick of my mock this year... Carl Davis, NT, Iowa, 3rd round... already looks good in the colors and would be a good fit for our D...

I know who I will want for the 2016 draft assuming he comes out early...Joey Bosa (thee Ohio State University). Man is that kid special.

We need to be able to pressure the QB relentlessly. If you could get a Randy Gregory or Vic Beasley or Shane Ray...that would be awfully tough to pass up.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Bosa is awesome. Kendall Fuller and VHIII are two stud corners in that class too

Bosa reminds me of a more disruptive JJ Watt (at least at the college level). He just spanks whoever is across from him.
