Shazier Again a Scratch for MNF

Honestly, one of the most hyped and yet disappointing seasons a rookie has had in a while. I understand injuries happen, but if this is a sign of things to come for Shazier, the Steelers better again look to the draft for LB talent, ... or Shazier had better roid up during the offseason.

Well, it's a good thing we didn't grab Mosley in the first.
    Trolls are people too.

the very first time I ever saw Shazier with his shirt off I thought to myself, "this guy looks like he is roided up"...

Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Why would shuffling quarterbacks be a problem? That means neither one is very good. This should not be a problem, IMO.

It's psychological warfare...he wants the thumbtacks to shuffle QBs...

Bell abuses everyone. CJ already has 90 tackles and 2 INTs. Not bad for a rookie eh?

Not bad at all...but, as has been stated as nauseum, you take a few years to judge a draft...

Some people hated the Timmons pick back in '07 and he spent some of his rookie year injured...but, he's one of the better players to come out of that 2007 draft, let alone the first round....

You guys are RIDICULOUS. The guy got his knee and ankle rolled up on. This is bad luck, not any indication of "things to come" or that he's "roided up." WOW

Holy $hit some people are crowing that this is a bad pick because he got injured? That's about the most self-serving thing I've ever seen.

Some of you seem more and more interested in proving your mettle as "draft guys" that it's actually overshadowing the fact that you're "fans" of the Pittsburgh Steelers!

True but so did 36 yr old James Harrison and he returned to the game and stayed in.

BUT i can't fault SHAZIER but if he next year rolls around and the same things are happening I will question how well he's really put together.

maybe it wasn't the same injury?

Are you talking about Shazier or Jarvis Jones? Second year? Same things keep happening? Questioning how well he is put together? Sounds like Jones too me

Let me state, by no means do I believe Shazier's story has already been written. I agree 3 years. I just question a few things...one is can Shazier stay healthy playing at 240 pounds? If not, does he have to drop weight and get swallowed up by OGs? Shazier has always been a human highlight reel. The guy can play. But, his game is built on speed, not technique...and not physicality. When you have a guy like Shazier, you MUST have a solid DL, and Timmons will have to keep him clean...to let him fly around. He is a project who will flash some serious playmaking ability once he gets healthy.

But, if you wanted a plug in and play guy from day one...a guy who can knock down 110-120 tackles a season...the guy was Mosley.
