I think it was a Bleachers article were some compared him to Ed Reed. Which caught my attention. Opps I was talking about the safety dub posted. Man I hope Bryant can hold up your guys super star statis you have him at already. Good WR for sure. But he has dropped a couple catchable balls. Man a lot of fans sure have it one way or the other with rookies! BUST or BEST!

Had he stayed in school the last year he would likely be a top 20 pick in the 2015 draft. Glad we got a little lucky with how this worked out. He is playing like a first round selection. Great class of wr's in this last draft.

I'm leaning that way. But with safeties and the first round it usually comes down to their 40 time.

Would you be so bold and compare him to say a Ed Reed type player? I don't watch much if any college football so I am asking you for real and not busting balls here.

              Stupid conservative play calling!
It was a little too late then all that started after 2nd quarter against some ex Walmart workers. The mentality should be if you can score 50 why not, instead they came out not to loose.

We missed throwing deep in the second quarter
                First quarter?
How much did we score in the first quarter the past two weeks?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

And Wing punted ONCE in the first half. What if we try not turning the ball over?

I haven't seen the ball skills or cover skills yet like an Ed Reed so no I would not go there. I think he is a different type of safety. More of a SS, thumper, down hill, at or near the box type ,but he has shown the ability to play the free safety spot so he could be one of the better cover SS. He shows great open field tackling ability for sure. He is going to be a good pro and (again), he plays in that Saben 3-4 zone blitz...

Just more proof that Tomlin and Colbert can't evaluate talent and just draft "busts"

per beat writer of the team bryant rounded off his route and (as can be seen) let the ball come into his chest.

not to bash on the kid too much cause you gotta live thru some mistakes with such a raw product

And...we need to keep Wallace because Brown can't score TDs.

Seriously though, I agree the Bryant kid has a lot of potential. But, it is tough to teach someone as old as he is to stop body catching the ball. Hopefully, he can. Otherwise, he will have more than his share of drops and deflected balls.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

This is true however Bryant does not body catch every ball. He was a hard worker at camp. The sample size of playing time is very limited so I'm not sure yet exactly how good Bryant will be. Not so sure he could not be a excellent player as his skill set has a very high ceiling.

Yep. Spot on. 10 of 16 TDs in the last 3 wins came in the 2nd Quarter. My count says 9 passes attempted in the 2nd quarter, all "short", excluding spikes.
