Anyone Hear Harbaugh Take a Dig @ Pittsburgh

Harbaugh talking to his team in the locker room after the Ravens win talks about how his team took care of business after a tough game Sunday night and say we got our "ass" kicked.

There was a lot of anger toward the Steelers in his post game. We're clearly inside his head. LOL Talking about us after a win. That's kinda classic.

He has the right to take a dig. His team took care of business vs. a bad team, whereas, the Steelers laid an egg. Again.

I dont think Tomlin knows *how* to fix this. If he did, he'd fix it. He's quite out of his depth dealing with unmotivated teams. So long as the team was on a high (2006-2011) he could run it, but the Tebow loss took the air out of the team and Tomlin can't put it back.

Also, observing Arians in Az, I wonder how much of 06-11 was Arians and not Tomlin.

            all of it.
tomlin has very little effect on any aspect of this team.

The Ravens are pissed that their post-game locker room scene was broadcast because they know its incredible bulletin board material for us.

John Harbaugh taunts Steelers after Ravens beat Titans

Ravens coach John Harbaugh takes a shot at the Steelers. The Ravens have since tried to assign blame to the CBS TV crew who was in the locker room to film his post game speech.

From the franchise that can't stop talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh took a moment amid his team's celebration over the Tennessee Titans in Week 10 to point out to his players the Steelers "got their asses beat" by the Jets.

In classic Ravens fashion, they issued an immediate statement blaming CBS for allegedly not turning cameras off before Harbaugh spoke to the team.

"The comments made by John Harbaugh in the locker room following today's victory over the Titans were meant for Ravens players and coaches only. The CBS-TV crew that was in the locker room was told by Coach Harbaugh that it could not broadcast what he was about to say. When Coach Harbaugh finished talking about various things happening around the NFL and in the AFC North, he told the crew that it could now use what he was going to say. Inexplicably, CBS-TV then aired comments Coach Harbaugh specifically said were not to leave the locker room. CBS-TV immediately pulled the video and apologized to the Ravens." (This statement is from Kevin Byrne, Ravens Senior Vice President of Public and Community Relations.)
This is the same Kevin Byrne who presided over the pro Ray Rice campaign over the summer, including a lengthly personal column pointing out all of Rice's positive attributes. That said, it's difficult to believe now CBS is at fault here.

Unless, of course, the TV crew was supposed to be in the locker room recording players showering, it's difficult to grasp why they were in there, and to what degree Coach Harbaugh can expect cameras to be turned off at his discretion. It would seem more likely he said something factual in the heat of the moment in an effort to show his players what can happen week to week in the NFL.

That would be plausible. Using his team's PR staff (particularly the Pro-Rice staff who otherwise covers the Steelers nearly as extensively as Pittsburgh media do) to attempt to shield what could be condoned if not understood is weak.

Good. Wish more coaches stuck there foot in there mouth. Could light a fire under the team. But I bet this goes on a bunch behind closed doors for every team. Wonder what Rex had to say after the game in his locker room?

Yes Arian's and his 20 something offense is why Tomlin and the number one defense won anything.

Arians is a good head coach but a sorry OC.
In the SB Arians led our 20 something offense agaist a Cardinal team that had a top 5 offense that was was more prolific that ANY offense Arians has ever coached led by Todd Haley.

This year our team has a top 5 offense for the first time in Bens career under Todd Haley. Arians has NEVER EVER coached an offense this prolific on the Steelers OR the Cardinals. The idea that Arian's was a key to our success is ridiculous. Lebeau was FAR MORE ccrucial.

Give this offense our 2008 defense and this team would be leaps and bounds better than that squad

Um.. I wasn't suggesting that Arians in his role as OC was the straw that stirred the drink. I was suggesting that he was advising Tomlin.

                              John Harbaugh doesn't regret barb
                              Jamison Hensley [ARCHIVE]

                              ESPN.com | November 10, 2014

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday that he doesn't regret his comments about the Pittsburgh Steelers that CBS mistakenly aired.

As the Ravens celebrated a 21-7 win over the Tennessee Titans, Harbaugh was shown in the locker room saying, "That team beat us last week and then went and got their ass kicked this week."

Harbaugh was referring to the Steelers, who had routed the Ravens the previous week and were upset by the New York Jets 20-13 on Sunday.

Harbaugh was asked whether he was still upset even after CBS released a statement apologizing for the mistake.

"I never gave it any thought, one way or the other," Harbaugh said. "You'd like to have your 10 minutes of private time with your team. We're going to talk to our team in an honest and straightforward way. We'll tell them what we think. Our guys deserve to hear that. I'm quite sure nobody's offended by that. I don't think any other team in the league cares what a coach says to his team after a game. I'm not too worried about that."

The Ravens later issued a statement after the team learned that a local Pittsburgh television station led with Harbaugh's comments for its evening news and the video was making its rounds on the Internet.

Asked whether he would limit others access going forward, Harbaugh said, "I don't really have a total say in that. That's one of the great things about the NFL is the access that the fans get. You'd like to have a moment with your guys, but I'm not going to say
