    The big win - New Jersey

    I was so pumped after the win on Sunday I ordered a number 99 Home Jersey and a T-shirt ...
    Wife already has Big Ben so I wasn't going for that.

    I've only had one Jersey so far and it was number 86.
    I wasn't going to order any gear this year, but, since they
    put the metal to the floor this past Sunday, I decided to go for it....

    Was curious what Jersey do you have ?

                  I don't wear another man's name on my back and for some reason it seems like wearing a jersey is some lame attempt to be more like the players we're watching or a quasi-member of the team. I've owned a couple in my past (Woodson and Kordell) and I don't begrudge anyone who wears one. It just ain't for me.

                          There is that 6 time champs one I'm considering.
                          Though we always hope it becomes outdated soon.

                                          99 is a solid choice. He's been one of my favs since his first year on STs when he was beating every player downfield regularly on KOs. He's always been a freak athlete and is still bringing it. I wish I had bought up all the $5 99s and 92s before the season.

                                          I've got a decent collection. People seem to give me jerseys all the time cause they know I'm a nutty fan. I've got a Mean Joe, Hines, Ben, Troy, Porter, Farrior, AB, Harrison, Swann, Pouncey, and a couple others I'm forgetting right now. Mine are all black home jerseys except for the Farrior away.

                                          As a superstitious aside, Mean Joe, Hines, and AB are my only jerseys that haven't been worn during a loss.
