    The Importance of Turnovers

This game is evidence...even if your defense has some serious deficiencies, if you can come up with some turnovers, you give yourself a lot better chance of winning.

I hope this team feeds off of this game, and ramps up the takeaways!

Pressure and blitzing. When they got it, good things happened. Worilds played his best game.

Need JJ back, though - nothing at all from the ROLB position. Can Vince Williams play there?

Converting those turnovers into touchdowns might be more important than actually getting the turnovers in the first place. If the Steelers do their normal "settle for a FG" routine there, we still lose.

Good point. The Steelers stole the game in a 3-minute span.

Looked it up, we had 2 int against Jax, goose egg v Browns, and three this week. We are +1 TO differential on the year. So things are looking up in that department....and it correlates directly to the outcomes of our last three games. One area we havent been up to snuff is sacks, we have 10 on the year....for comparison, our opponents have 20.

Only one sack this week, but there were more plays in which the pocket was collapsing than we are used to seeing. Whether that causes incompletions, or turnovers, all the same. QB starts to get happy feet, starts to sense pressure before it arrives, getting just a bit of heat is a wonderful thing.
