    Defense: Old and new contribute

Like it was 4 years ago - Troy running down the field with a takeaway ... Diesel one off the leading tacklers (and a pic??) ... someone named Mike Mitchell making some nice plays ...

    A nice evening on D!

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

I loved seeing McCullers clogging up the middle.. that was awesome. that kid needs more playing time.

McCullers had some flashes. Hope they get him in more and let him develop.

I thought the new starter Brice McCain had a pretty decent game.

Outside of Keisel's pick that bounced into his lap when his back was to the play, he largely got pushed around. Tuitt got precious few snaps, despite being told he would start.

Where was McCain at the end? I kept seeing Cortez covering Andre Johnson... and it kept terrifying me.

I don't know where McCain went. Did he get hurt?

Yep. Way too much Kiesel and not enough Tuitt. The only reason Kiesel got that INT was because he was pushed 5 yards down the field.

cortez is going to be one of a few reasons why the steelers give up big plays, as soon as he went in fitz was picking on him badly, and brice was playing good! any word on when ike can come back or we looking at after the bye?

That is a terrible evaluation of that play lol

They were in the Nickel again at the end. Cortez will see the field in the Nickel and he draws outside coverage (LCB) with McCain moving into the slot I believe.

they switch it up with Gay and Mccain in the slot. Cortez plays on the outside most of the time

I was thinking the same thing but I saw him covering the slot guy.. IT was like Brice had Johnson blanketted so well that they werent going to him, so they moved Brice.. and then suddenly when Allen was covering Johnson they started going to that match up, finding success.. (Want to say Johnson only had 1 catch before the switch)

He had 1 catch for 4 yards for most of the game, but i think he had 3 by the time that change was made

Ovi's obviously trolling here. Anyone who's ever watched the Steelers 5-tech's know that Keisel was doing EXACTLY what you're supposed to do in that situation. He was occupying 2 lineman, and while holding his ground, still managed to get his hand up to tip the pass, and then use his athleticism to catch the ball out of the air, off of Timmons' helmet, and return it 35 yards.

I want to see more of Tuitt as well, but to complain about Keisel in this case is simply trolling, plain and simple.
