But our defensive coaches are imbiciles because this guy wasn't our starter from day one. Zero credit for those old stubborn coaches LeBeau and Mitchell for transforming him from the guy that you describe to a guy who now looks like he might just belong on an NFL field.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

everyone was bad at Tennessee... smh. I'm joking but I'm a Vols fan (Hess Hall)...

anyway, the guy is huge. I'm sorry but you can't teach size and I think anyone who took a chance on him would see similar production. Not trying to knock our coaching staff but even if he screws up his assignment or has horrible technique he will still clog up the middle due to his size.

He took a good 20 steps to go 5 yards. I think we may have found another late round gem.

For 10 yards? At some point he needs to disengage and hit the QB.

I can't stop laughing when I watch it.

He's so raw that it's possible they told him his job when he was in there was to just push the center and/or whoever tried to block him back as far as he could. Maybe this week they'll get around to the other stuff like tackling.

The question is not can he tackle.....it is CAN HE PLAY TACKLE.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Nevertheless, the kid looked good. Hope he gets more reps.
He was only in for 9 of 62 scrimmage plays. Dar n it! For the 1st time in a long time I did not tape the game. Thinking watching the highlights of both Pit and Hou on nfl.com would suffice. Too bad! But anyhow, just one more player disrupting things can make a world of difference. Incidentally,

The Trade Deadline is October 28. One more player sometimes puts the fine line in your favor. Also would it not be nice to have Big Ben get time for 2-3 more plays a game? Think about it! Here is a fairly accurate list of the 2015 FA's. Maybe it is possible to capitalize on some team having extreme trouble this year and stealing a player who they might just lose for nothing next year? Look it over. Carimi OT from the 2-5 Atlanta Falcons??
