Let's not get carried away OV.
We go 1-16 last year giving up 34 points.
Bens best game ever won this game.

Had the offense played like the Browns game we get crushed yesterday.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

I have to disagree because we won't be playing Luck every week. If we had blitzed like this gainst the Browns and Tampa we don't lose those games with the QBs they have. Hoyer and Glennon aren't putting up 34 points under that pressure.

As usual, post-game squabbling and rancor after a win. Or a loss. Doesn't seem to matter. I'm not seeing anyone dissing Worilds and glorifying Harrison. Everybody I saw was giving props to Worilds. As for Harrison, he's rounding into shape and showing signs of contributing. As for Allen, the verdict is unanimous. What's to argue?

As for penalties, well as one poster said last night, if it wasn't a Steeler game he'd have turned it off. It rained flags and automatic first downs. But the one that ticked me off was a roughing the passer penalty on us because the rusher touched the QB's helmet. Geezus H. Kreist, would the officials please use some common sense out there.

This from DK on Pittsburgh Sports They sure do. Roethlisberger has been all that and more and, even if isolating on this season, he’s been a lot better through this 5-3 start than most seem to have appreciated to this point.
So how to explain that, for the better part of those first seven weeks, those big yards yielded little more than big headaches?

“So the rest of us needed to do our jobs better,” Foster kept on. “That’s what had to happen.”

          Smart guys, those offensive linemen.

            Hmmm.
Rushed only 4 Blake gives the dreaded DL "cushion".
Exactly what you rail against OV.
            Result?

OV just cause it worked don't make you right man.
Got pressure with 4 and Blake made a play.
Ike DROPPED an eisier end zone pick early in the season just like this as he has his entire career. The difference is not the play call, its catching the ball.

Like Deebo said players gotta make plays.
            You are wrong.

The only time these D gets credit is when you get credit?

I like the pressure as well but what people need to remember is Luck is a QB who will hold the ball trying to make plays down field. Everyone bashed Arians for Luck's high sack totals but this is part of Luck's game. Luck is good but he throws picks and takes hits.

I doubt we see the same type of pressure moving forward because a lot of QB's are going to get rid of the ball instead of waiting for down field shot.

It's OK to be a lil bit of a homer after a W. It's like some of you can't live without bashing guys you don't like even when they have a decent game. There is no reason to jump on Harrison for the way he played yesterday. LOL...

nope... I don't think those other QB's are holding the ball like Luck does so we probably wouldn't see the same pressure.

Luck has a lot of Ben in him from a playing style standpoint, big, strong, big arm, doesn't like to give up on a play, the Colts have a great one with this kid and he's fun to watch.

Now I know how frustrating it must be for other teams to play against Ben. You think you have him sacked but he makes a little move to get free or buy him enough time to get rid of the ball. Luck, if he isn't great already, sure is going to be.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                    but Go Steelers!!!

yup.. makes me wonder if Arians was getting Luck hit or if that's just how he plays the game. He isn't afraid of contact and will take a shot if it means an extra half second to hit a WR down field

I would tend to agree with that. He's playing at a high level right now.

I just find it amazing that Worilds is getting so little credit for the last two games and posters are talking about Harrison.
Worilds definitely deserves credit for his play. After all, he realized that Cleveland was game six, so he only had ten games left to earn a big contract. Hence, the improved play.
