He's just desperately trying to prove he is on it. Meanwhile....what's this going to help? Troy is the most obvious flawed player out there, but since he and LaBeue have a man crush, TP get's a pass. Wait, will we get to hear the announcers - AGAIN - say that Dick has never seen a player with better instincts than Troy, as he is F-ing 20 yards away from the man he should have been covering? Let's face it...you and guys like Windy will find fault in every move or non-move that's made. Same holds true for anything Tomlin might say or not say. If Allen was starting this week, you'd probably complain about that. Maybe you should look at our depth at safety (especially this week) before you start complaining about Troy being benched.

I don't think you'll find a single poster who is happy about the job Troy or Tomlin have turned in to this point. But when all you do is incessantly complain about everything, it's hard to find credibility with your comments.

it is a good move and Cortez really isn't being benched, he's simply changing roles with McCain and going back to playing the slot CB position he used to be very successful at.

Ya I like moving him to the slot, I was saying that's where he should've of been at the beginning of the year when Ike was healthy.

It's another indication this team is in the tank. They develop Lewis, do not sign him to a contract. They had a choice of dumping Ike and Cortez for Lewis but no, lets over pay Cortez that is now a bench warmer. They have an old but still okay Ike on IR. They're hitching their wagon to backup in McCain. Yes, this should be the perfect plan for those that see no wrong in our
