Yea well since that's as far as your memory goes, you wouldn't know that about 11 days ago there were a few no call penalties on the defense that allowed at least two td's for Tampa but the offense went to sleep instead of making the necessary play call to secure the win and 4 out of 6 sores were only field goals some weeks before that in Baltimore were the offense only scored 6 points, just to speak on the losses

It's probably a good think your memory doesn't go back that far but keep thinking the offense is not the biggest problem

          I agree...

be careful though, we can't critique the offense for their last performance because we won.

I think this offense should be putting up 24 points with the weapons we have. If we can put up 27 points in a half we damn sure should be able to put up 20 to 24 points consistently.

Steelers D had better get ready for bombs away from Hoyer. He leads the league in air yds/pass att.

Roethlisberger? ... middle of the pack in the same stat. In fact, 50% of BRs passing yds are due to the WR.

Flacco in my opinion bombs away on our defense too. I don't know why more teams don't throw the rainbows at us.

I don't know, I think this game is going to be tough. The is the Brown's "Super Bowl".

it wouldn't surprise me if they took this game.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Joe Haden misses second straight practice

Posted by Josh Alper on October 9, 2014

Browns cornerback Joe Haden hasn’t had much success in matchups with Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and his chances of trying to reverse that trend this weekend aren’t looking good because his chances of playing aren’t looking very good.

Haden missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday with a hip injury, although coach Mike Pettine isn’t going to rush any decision about Haden’s status for Sunday’s game until he sees how things look on Friday.

“We’re playing it slow, so we’ll see,” Pettine said, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “We won’t have any real good information on that until tomorrow.”

If Haden can’t go, the team plans a “group effort” to cover Brown. Rookie Justin Gilbert, who has seen his playing time diminish since the opening week, could be part of that plan for a defense that has several other injury concerns. Defensive tackle Phil Taylor is out after surgery while defensive end Billy Winn and linebacker Paul Kruger were both held out at practice along with Haden.

Interesting thing is word is that draft pick Gilbert is in major doghouse with Pettine and hasn't gotten on the field much. He may be forced to play him this weekend. AB can then make another Brown's CB his beeyotch.

probably faking so he doesn't have to get torched by Brown again

Funny, my thought was - "point spread? Only matters to me if I'm betting on the game. Otherwise I will watch to see what happens instead of letting the gamblers in Vegas decide the outcome."

What, am I hearing that the Browns 1st round draft choice isn't playing and isn't a superstar? I thought that happened only to Steeler draft picks because of LeBeau.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                            but Go Steelers!!!
