Steelers Mike Tomlin takes ownership of critical play call..

    Well Mike,

Being successful on a play during the game is very different then at the end of the game
and needing a first down to win the game. When the game is on the line you put your best options
on the table which, would have been Ben for a pass. Tampa new along with all of us fans at home that
you were going to run.... So, do the opposite!!! play to win!
That's right playing conservative after a lead and in 4th quarter with our Defense will lose the game...

I'm still pissed at that play call at the end of the game. I'm sure I will be over it after your first touchdown
    against Jaguars.

Ben had the option to run or pass in that situation. Tomlin stated, "....it was a run pass option. Ben opted for the handoff to Bell because the Buccaneers were playing man coverage and did not load up the box to stop the run." Ben made the decision to run the ball based on what he recognized from the Bucs defense.

The execution by the offensive line, in particular Decastro, was awful. The play failed because the offensive line failed to execute.

Run should have never been on the table.. he says run and pass option but, I believe, it was called in as a run all the way.....

Often times coaches give QB's a run pass option based on the alignment of defense.

If you believe Tomlin was lying then there is no hope for you to believe otherwise.

Tampa was selling that coverage.... Even man to man we had better chances to hit HM or AB on a quick pass.. Of course this is my opinion.
The results speak for themselves. What was the outcome of that play call? We didn't get the first down. so, it was the wrong call...

I don't believe, he was lying but, most run plays have an option to pass. So, it
was an easy response to say it was a run \ pass option.

Anything to blame Tomlin, lol it's getting ridiculous. It was basically Ben call depending on the defense in which was 5 on 5 , better execution on run blocking and we don't have this conversation or better yet no pre snap penalty on first down and we don't have this conversation.

The game lost is on Tomlin and everything below that!

Should have been a pass/pass option. Ben played the pcts and called the run, taking the ball out of his hands.

If you are being real then the games lost start with the ownership.

Tell Dickey to stop playing passive on a immobile stiff at QB's and we don't have this conversion.

The wallace and decastro missed key blocks....i still think it should have been a pass.

Tomlin never throws anyone under the bus....i know you all would love if he did though for another reason to blindly hate him
