    We're A Bad Team...

...because we lost to a bad team...

But, 7 days ago, we were a good team because we beat a good team...

Except that good team lost to the Ravens today, so they're really a bad team, not a good team...

The roller coaster would be amusing, if it were not so sad...

We're a team in transition. Expect this up and down crap for a while.

Expectations got the best of us (fans) today.

I do expect it...I also expect opponents to be better than the fans give them credit for being...

So, we are agreeing here? I think we're a bad team for some games and a good team for others. It depends on a lot of variables.

I think that the NFL has engineered the entire system to create parity between teams....

This is something that we all know, but fans still take games for granted and get their panties in a bunch when they are wrong...

Time will tell. We are only a quarter of the way through the season. I still expect the Steelers to contend for a wild card this season. Most likely the Panthers too. When its all said and done do you expect the Bucs to do the same?

I'm not ready to write off the Bucs any more than I am the Steelers....

One week at a time until the math doesn't work out...

Big Ben, Antonio, Brown, Heath Miller, Bell, Blount, Wheaton, Pouncey, DeCastro and we can't win a game. Maybe because of the coaches ? Or maybe it's Gilbert, Beechum and Foster. Do we blame those three or the coaches for our offensive woes ? The defense, Cortez Allen should hand his money back and the rest of the crew needs to do it too. It all starts with our coaching staff and they don't have their stuff together and I believe they never will. You can count on Tomlin not to have his troops ready again after half time. What does he tell those guys in that locker room anyway ? Or is he preparing for his personal interview after the game ?

No, we're a bad team on the way down. To be a team in transition, young players would have to be replacing old players.

Keisel, Harrison, and Troy all played the 2nd half and were a big part of the collapse.

It's time for a real youth movement. If LeBeau can't coach the young guys up to play, he should be summarily fired.

A team that cannot win consistently, that cannot beat bad opponents on their own turf, is not a good team. Maybe by the end of the season, the Steelers will be a good team, but for now, they are not. In every phase--offense, defense, STs, and coaching--they are below the line.

No, no Bradshaw. You are wrong. Slapstick is a deep thinker who's got a greater understanding off all things NFL. Much more than us mere mortals. His contempt for other fans stems from his immense ability to comprehend the intricacies of the game the rest of us can't see. We should be thankful for his pity...

Is there a young player on that team that played today that you feel can be a difference maker or be to the point we can win championships with him. It takes more than one so lets say, do you see it with this group of players ? Hard to believe our defense stinks so badly. I realize we are missing three starters but one is an old corner ( not bad ) and the other two are not that more senior than the guys that stepped in today for them.

Does it count that we have "run and hit" linebackers?
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.
