Who would want to win the Superbowl with the NFLs top offense but also with one of the Worst Ranked Defenses??

Call me weird but I've always wanted the Steelers to be know for Defense.

Since winning the Super Bowl is the main objective, however they could do it would be alright with me!

That said...you don't have to have one of the best-ranked defenses... but you do have to have a D that can make stops/come up with turnovers at crucial times.

As long as winning the SB does not involve cheating, I'm fine with whatever method gets it done...

With our beloved 70s teams, the first two SB victories were won largely with defense, with combined scores of Steelers 37 - Opponents 23....

The third and fourth SBs of the dynasty were won largely with offense, with combined scores of Steelers 66 - Opponents 50...

Ill take a Super Bowl no matter how you give it to me. We can be dead last in offense and defense and win all our games returning 3 kickoffs for touchdowns every game. I would be cool with that if we win the Super Bowl.

I'd take that everyday day of the week and twice on Super Bowl Sunday. Nature of defense that we grew up with is gone forever like the horse and buggy. It's an offensive league and that will never go back the other direction.

While this is true, I was referring to the actual title game itself...

Top 5 D or not, those defenses allowed 50 points over 8 SB quarters...the offense just so happened to score greater than 30 points both games...

This would indeed be an odd way to win given that I only remember seeing one kickoff returned this season in ALL the games I've watched combined. And it was the one in which Dri Archer should have stayed put but came out late and ended up getting hurt. Talk about boring. The game sucks without kickoff returns.

I think I only know who I would not want to win the superbowl in any case ... Dallas, San Fran, Balt, NYJets, GB, Cinci, Oak, Chi, Cle, etc, etc.
