I'm not one for excuses but its hard to not look at those two personal foul calls and the two non-calls where brown and miller were smacked as game changers. We are talking big momentum shifts or boosts. The refs ruined that game.

The Steelers were outmatched. We don't have a defensive line that is worth much outside of Brett Kiesel and Cam Heyward. Our linebackers are that it seems too small. Our secondary. puh leeze ! But for the defense it really starts up front and there is no up front.

Gilbert stinks ! Ben's only protection is the huddle. Expect more injuries to our receivers with the style offense we have. I'm no saying it's all over for us but, this is a 7-9 team and the people whom select and try to develop our players are at the root of the problems.

At least we won't got 0-4 to start this season.

Positives, Antonio Brown and Bell both make something out of nothing on a regular basis. That's about it.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Did anyone think Keisel woudl be getting the kind of playing time that he's been getting? I thought he was brought in to mentor and give breathers. Seems like he's always on the field these past two games.

And he's still better than Cam Thomas.

I'll also include the continued emergence of Wheaton, but otherwise, there is not much.

...but he knows the system. Why put Tuitt or McCullers out there to learn under fire and prove themselves when someone knows the system? Same old.....

Despite not scoring a TD in 6 quarters now, I think the offense is at least showing some interesting signs, with some relatively creating play calling to get the ball in the hands of AB, Heath, Bell, Wheaton, etc. I think the TDs will start coming on O, despite the fact the the line is still no good. It's the defense that I don't see improving much. When we finally play an actually good offense, the result could be really ugly.
