    Under Tomlin........

What happens whenever we go 2-0?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

There are Tomlin detractors and those that simply detract from everything. I think just about everyone can pick something very rational to dislike with any coach in the national football league. We then have those that simply detract from everything and we certainly have much more of the latter than the former. I fully expect to see the steelers button up from week one and build upon their successes. I'm expecting 2-0. Just as you should expect people to be in here crying because its what they do. Cry, cry, cry.

In 2010 we went 2-0 and went to the Super Bowl. Is that what you mean?

Yes you are on the right track......I said "every time" we go 2-0.
        It happened more than once.

So under Tomlin we've only gone 2-0 twice??

Although I am not one to judge a team by how they play in September rather only how they improve thru September into October

The Positive is his teams play well in the second half of the season. If we can get out to a quick start . Hopefully find our way back in the play offs.

              Well what happened both times?

And at least with Tomlin....as September goes so does the season.
In 2012 we "improved" from a horrid September to a better October and wound up 8-8.

And somehow, he has managed to post as many regular season victories as Cowher to this point in his career...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Yes, therefore historically any team of his that starts fast is successful.

                      Rooney's pick.

Technically they are more Colbert's players as it is HIS job.

Well is there a difference if we went 2-0 then 3-0 the next week or... Did we go 2-0 and then 2-1 the next week???
2007 we went as far as 3-0 but only 1 round in playoffs

Yes, but he had way more wins than Cowher at the 4 year point..

The last two were not good for his record.

On the other hand, Cowher was miserable in years 7-9. So Tomlin will overtake him in the next couple of years.

Why are you assuming there's any correlation between September football and January football?
