    Kudos for M Wheaton

This second year wr has not gotten much support on this board. Perhaps he hasn't deserved much either but he has shown good work habits during 2 training camps and today's 6 for 97 on 7 targets at least shows he's got some skills. Not pimping him as a star but he can be an above average 2.
Hope he continues to improve and help us win some games this year.

This game was exactly what the doctor ordered for Wheaton. Made some great clutch plays, built some confidence and now some trust from Ben. If this is the sign of things to come, Wheaton will make all forget about Sanders.

Wheaton made a ton of Meaningful catches in this game.. Much better than the guy he is taking over for (Sanders)

Offensively WHEATON was our X Factor.
No one knew whether he would be good or bad but I will say for this team to be effective HE is the reason. Without him this team has no #2 guy.

Wheaton was the absolute stud WR in the Shrine Game I believe before the draft- best route runner, great hands.

I was very excited to see him drafted by the Steelers.

Only to some who believe every draft pick should move into the starting lineup and become an All Pro.

Maybe we should trade some of these rookies, just in case they might become a bust.
