Just my opinion but I think having a big lead for us at this stage is not a good thing.. We cannot run the ball out like we use to back in the day.. There were no Adjustments to make because everything was perfect.
I also think that with this being the first full game everybody played took its toll.. We looked tired and the Browns went into a bit of a hurry up. Our game conditioning didn't look quite there.

If you guys were honest with yourselves you would have figured that this game would have been close with us winning it in the end.

actually, we can run the ball out. What hurts us the most is incomplete passes on 1st and 2nd down.
We really struggled with misdirection on defense. Especially the rookies.
Hats off to the Browns though. That offensive line is tough.

Might have to agree to Disagree on the running of the ball but Yea the Defense over pursued a deal (correctable)

Some Steeler fans have an amazing ability to focus on all the negatives. Said one:

"Probably the worst win the Steelers have had in a long time but at least they are 1-0 and the Ravens are 0-1".

"the worst win"????? wasn't aware that a win was a bad thing, but thank you for sharing.

Its what we do amigo. We gripe and moan when we lose, and when we win we still manage to sneak in a gripe and a moan in the midst of our gloating. Its called belonging to SteelerNation.

That play worked for good yards 2 or 3 times earlier in the game, it was a good call, IMO, the Browns defended it for the first time.

Nope, but there many good things and its the first game of the year. The team can improve and get better as the year moves along.

Ben was very good today, one bad throw, but otherwise he was Ben
AB was good today in the run game as well as receiving
Wheaton was good in the run game as well as receiving
Justin Brown looked good, save for one drop
                          Bell looked good
Jarvis Jones played well and he never gives up on a play, he has a guy dead to rights in the backfield, slips and falls, the back gets by him, he gets up and pursues for 20-25 yards and helps on the tackle and took a whack at causing a fumble
                          Worilds played well
                          The Steelers won

Hmm.. that I recall, very few fans were predicting this game would be a cakewalk as it was in the 1st half. In the end, the game played out pretty much how 80% of knowledgeable fans predicted; a tough, close game. In case you missed it, the Browns had a top 10 defense last season.

80% percent of knowledgeable fans predicted we would give up 24 unanswered points in the second half to make it close? If that's the case we must not be very good, the browns came into this game without Gordon, they lost Cameron and tate halfway through the game. We had a 24 point lead and still almost lost to them.
