I doubt that. Any decisions were probably jointly taken by him and Haley. But I don't think it was just the coaches. The coaches let the foot off the accelerator a bit. The *team* lost the flow, and after that, regardless of the calls they couldn't bring it around. Which is why we had to do strange things like the reverse with 3 minutes to go, to get things moving again. This is tough. Cause usually, 27 points with our defense and at home is more then enough. But as bad and as clueless as the Defense looked today....I still cannot believe our offensive spirit just died like that. I don't think it was Haley as much as it was Tomlin. He probably ordered Haley and the offense to NOT be as aggressive...for fear of a potential easy TO that could give the Browns extra momentum. But, going all conservative does the same thing. No. I blame the 2nd half offensive performance ALL on Mikey.Comment

Sorry I am not buying that. You don't go from 400 yards in the first half to what we did in the second half by accident. Anyone...Including Ray Charles could see that the offense was cut in half, and tried to play Ultra conservative.Comment

so you guys are satisfied with pulling out a last second victory over the clowns in the season opener? with a rookie head coach and bryan hoyer at QB on the other side?
tomlin isnt above reproach. and neither are lebeau or haley. that was a disgusting display of football in the 2nd halfComment

The 2nd half offensive hiccup was a direct result of Haley taking over on offense. What changed from the first half? The hurry up offense. Listen to Ben's post game interview. I'll paraphrase it, Interviewer: "What happened?" ...Ben, "We got away from what we were doing in the 1st." I watched in disbelief as we huddled up time after time. The Browns picked up the tempo and threw a wrench into our defensive machine by going no huddle. I'm not saying the no huddle is better in every situation, but in ours, it is!2019 Mock

exactly what we did in the second half is inexcusable and nobody can tell me its execution, that was a coaching issue they made an adjustment at half time and we didn't.Comment
