Most players interested in picking nfl games do so against the spread.

One MB has a regular yearly contest where 4 games each week are played. You pick them and assign a value to the pick. 4 3 2 1 with 4pts being your top pick. It plays out quite well.

But the one I think is better is on one of those strictly serious about this sort of thing sites. It simply is pick 5 games per week. Each one of equal value ATS or over/under and the winner gets a bundle.

I must also be "kind of bush" ()because I don't give half a crap about sports betting or the spread. I see it as more of a way to see how well you know the league, the teams, and the match-ups. To each their own.

Well, there sure are enough leagues there to satisfy everyone. Just about every type of league and every type format can be joined.

They have free pick all 16 no spread leagues and also free against the spread ones. However, there are also pick all 16 no spread leagues requiring an entry fee. Reasonable 25$ or 50$ but the prizes are pretty much all distributed.

Those could be interesting. It certainly would require some major skill at picking the upsets of the week to get any prize loot I would think. That is no easy feat.

Anyway, good luck on getting your league going. If you do I will be checking out the picks looking for some good upset picks [tips] of the week.

Hey, what happened to the picks. I don't see any from last week. How am I going to land on any sleepers? Did anyone like Buffalo and or Miami. Those were sort of surprises. Maybe not. Maybe they are portents of the future. Miami's pass rush was a b c d e all of the above.

Burgh 86 and Papi are leading the pack with 11. Only those that joined can see the picks.

Was wondering where you'd went DoS .

As I said, everything is pretty much automated. I don't do squat. It sends out a weekly reminder to make your picks, which did save my butt a couple of times last year.

That said, if anyone knows of anything they need/want to add/change/whatever, let me know.

Looks like no one in the league picked either Miami or Buffalo last week. Tough call on their game against each other this week IMO.

What can I say? They play better when I pick against them.
