Yea, 4 games is a bit harsh, Bell might get something a little more than Blount, but I can't see either exceeding 2 games, my guess would be 1 for Beavis (Bell) and a fine for Blounthead (Blount).

I feel the same way I felt when this happened.
Something needs to be done and if they want to show up the Commish they should do it the Steeler way and not the NFL way.

No Pool in the locker room for the entire year isn't going to cut it for me.

Other than Brett Keisel the majority of the current team and the league is made up of the so-called Millenial Generation so we should just get used to this kind of stuff now.

This isn't the XFL where this kind of thing would be ok.
This is the NFL and it stand for NOT FOR LONG. LOL Sorry couldn't resist.

Anyway when you have NFL Challenge for kids and you have an entire MONTH of Pink Ribbon games you can't have this type of behavior. If you want to remove those types of programs from the NFL then sure have them ridin dirty in the streets of Pittsburgh.

Both need a one game suspension, fine and to have to carry Keisel's and Troy's jock straps for the rest of the season.
              Trolls are people too.

One game is a joke. It means next to nothing to these pampered jocks. If they're really serious about curtailing this kind of behavior in the future, they have to hand down a stiffer penalty.

BTW, I'm one who thinks Ray Rice should have been kicked out for a year.

getting busted with as a 20-something vs pummeling your wife are 2 completely different things. Besides, if you ask Ryan Clark... you'd suspend half the team on weed charges.

Again none of us are upset that players smoke weed! We get it so if Ryan Clark is and was correct, who cares! SMOKE the CRAP IN YOUR HOME!

Ryan Clark did not say that 1/2 the team smokes pots and drives around town while HIGH! Huge difference.

Colorado is having the same issues with smoking and DUI's.

you can have pink ribbons, PED's and weed...

they have done it for years and it's been extremely successful. No one cares about PED's or weed until it impacts their favorite player or their team and it will always be this way because football fans aren't idiots like baseball fans.

We know this is a high impact sport and some players will get high to ease the pain or cope with the stress of playing a game for huge amounts of money....

especially when you can lose it all with one injury.

and looking at Keisel I wouldn't be surprised if he smokes as well... he's just smart enough to keep it in house.

They don't check for weed once the season starts so that lets you know how serious they are about it.

Id rather them smoke weed than have them addicted to PAIN MEDS for the rest of their life.
                              However.

DO NOT DRIVE AROUND IN A DAMN CAR HIGH AS A KITE WITH AN UGLY CHICK HOURS BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE GAME! DUMB!

DUI is still DUI and last time I checked everyone's life gets a little jacked up when you get a DUI! Dumb and Dumber will get what they deserve no matter how much you are ok with DUI's.
