Ed Bouchette: Good afternoon, let's begin

Keith: Who do you see making the team as DL and which ones will start?

Ed Bouchette: Cam Heyward, Steve McLendon, Stephon Tuitt would be my starting 3 right now. Cam Thomas. The rest will sort themselves out but I've always liked Loni Fangupo as a NT. Maybe Brian Arnfelt

I'll take a closer look at the d line today at Latrobe and the young guys like Mauro in particular.

Football isn't played in shorts. When the pads go on...That's when players can separate. Guys who looked like players in shorts can disappear when the pads go on. Guys who disappeared in shorts could become players when the pads go on. The only one that matters...is the latter.

Totally agree when it comes to mini-camp, but the pads are on this week in Latrobe and they are going full tilt. Tuitt is looking strong/fast and McCullers blew up DeCastro and Mike Adams yesterday.

If Fangupo outperforms McCullers at camp, then Loni will be the backup NT (with Cam Thomas also having experience playing NT, if Stephon Tuitt beats him out for starting DE opposite Cam Heyward). If that's the case, then we could try to sneak McCullers onto the practice squad this year.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Judging what is being said about McCullers I don't think we'll be hiding him anywhere; it seems he's going to have to make the 53 or someone will take him, plus Cam Thomas' little issue could be a deciding factor if its neck and neck with McCullers.

Cam Thomas story is a little out there...not sure what, if any of that is true

Mccullers is a bad football player (from what ive seen at Tennessee and the senior bowl)...not sure anyone is going to be chomping at the bit to sign the 7th round pick. People knew how big he was the whole time

And, evidently he's moving people including DeCastro.

They also say he gets gassed and blockers can get under his pads and out leverage the **** out of him.

Crazy how a positive tweet can influence people. I wouldnt expect him to get destroyed on every play or drill, i just dont think hes very good.

I would expect him to allow blockers under his pads, getting gassed, not so much, but, he was a 7th round pick as you mentioned, there will be teams in need of big bodies IMO and he'll fit the bill. It's just my opinion that if put on the PS he'll get signed somewhere. Hopefully, I'm wrong if that's the route the Steelers take with him.

I did think the Tweet about McCullers having the best practice of his pro career was an odd one, considering that he has had all of two pro practices so far.
