Behind The Scenes Story of the 2014 Steelers Draft.

For the first time, the Pittsburgh Steelers will give unprecedented access to their draft process in an upcoming web series titled, “Countdown: Behind The Scenes Story of the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Draft,” the team announced today.

The four-part series will be aired exclusively on the team’s official website, Steelers.com, beginning May 14, which is the Wednesday following the NFL Draft, which runs from May 8-10. The series will air on four consecutive Wednesdays (May 14, 21, 28 & June 4) at Noon on Steelers.com.

“We are thrilled to provide our fans an exclusive look at our draft preparation process for this year’s NFL Draft,” Steelers President Art Rooney II said.

The four-part series will be narrated by former Steelers Pro Bowl offensive tackle, Tunch Ilkin. The documentary-style series covers the team’s draft process, starting at training camp through this year’s NFL Draft weekend. It includes interviews with Rooney, General Manager Kevin Colbert, Head Coach Mike Tomlin and other Steelers draft personnel, as well as draft room footage, video of some of the top college prospects in this year’s draft class and coverage of the NFL Combine, Pro Days and draft preparation meetings.

nope.. it's all smoke and mirrors. I bet they filmed this last night and faked it just so they can protect Tomlin and Lebeau

Nothing earth-shattering in the first installment. It was just under 6 minutes in length. Started with the last game of the 2013 season, progressed into the Senior Bowl practices and the NFL Combine, and then went into the beginning of the draft meetings that include Colbert and his scouts, Tomlin and his coaches, and Rooney, starting about 3 months prior to the draft itself. I was hoping for something like the "In The Room" segments that the Penguins provide, but not much access so far. We'll have to see what we get next week.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Do you really think they will show anything that makes any of them accountable?
