I love the new draft format, any traditions with it?

What do you think of this relatively new format of having 3 days and nights with the draft?

Me? I love it. I think having a prime time night draft for the first round is brilliant.

And, for days two and three, I don't watch it every minute, but keep an eye on when Pgh is drafting and usually do watch most of their picks live. I might miss rounds 6 or 7 as far was watching it live, but check in all the time regardless.

Do you treat the first round with any fanfare? I might have a few cold ones and some snacks. I just love the whole thing. Who'd a thunk that the NFL draft would end up so huge. I find of remember the days of ESPN being made fun of for televising it live. It ain't no joke no more. The NFL draft ratings out pull the NHL and NBA play off games going on during the same time. Wow.
Me personally,I hate it. I wish it would go back to Saturday and Sunday.

Those picks are generally bigger and more significant and like how we get extra time to soak in each pick as they go. Also, being at night, you can turn it into a party with drinks and food, like it's a game. I mean, to me, the draft is something to celebrate, like the start of the season itself. I mean, hell, it's in April/May, at a time when we are Jones-ing for NFL action, even if it's not action on the field.
Not when you have to get up at 2:30 the next morning.

The only problem I have with the draft...is that it was pushed back! It's taking FOREVER for the draft to get here! And I've been counting down since there was 287 days left.
