    Lance Moore to Visit

I've always kind of liked Lance Moore. He's coming off of a down year and is an effective slot guy. I'm not quite sure how he fits. I suppose that you could have Brown, Moore, Wheaton and a rookie as the top 4, but I'd prefer Cotchery over Moore.

[/URL]Sorry, just saw the other thread on the same topic. This is what happens when I post before finishing my coffee.

We already have slot-type guys in Wheaton and Brown. But, I do like his toughness.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Brown can line up anywhere and be effective...hopefully, with some playing time, Wheaton can prove to be the same way...the Steelers generally like to have a strong veteran presence among the WR group...Cotchery, Terence Mathis, Courtney Hawkins...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Even if Cotch does not come back, I would probably pass on Moore.

We need vets on this team...Moore would do just fine with us. Brown, Wheaton, Moore, Moye, draft pick.

Then again...look at our current track record for FA signings...we are currently: 2/4..I believe? Mitchell and Thomas, right? We didn't get Starks or Carrington..so its a 50/50 chance right now.

If Haley wants the small, quick guy I would rather go Herron (as in your sig) than Moore. No injury history and younger. I know the experience is invaluable but it matters little when the guy is on the sidelines.

I don't believe Starks ever made it to Pittsburgh. He was scheduled to visit, but I believe the Pack gave him a 2 year deal to stay before he could even get on the plane.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
