Well they are letting Ayers, Decker and Moreno go.
All their money is tied up in Peyton, Clady, Welker, and these guys
Think about who they have other than that...all guys playing on rookie cap deals. Miller, Julius Thomas, Demaryius, Trevathan, ect are all cheap right now

They also let Beadles go. I remember the Steelers had pre-draft interest in him when he came out, and the way he pulls, we would have been a great LG for the Steelers.

They accurately pointed this out on NFL Network/ESPN. Charley Casserly pointed out that other than Manning, no one was really getting paid for Denver. Their best players are in their first contracts. No WR, RB, DL, LB, CB are making top $, other than Champ who was cut. Obviously, moving forward, this won't be the case, including the players they just signed. They simply had tons of cap space. Oh, Wes Welker is the other exception. And I don't disagree with their urgency. They won't have a Manning QB much longer. They were close last year. Why not go for it now? (Even though signing several high profile players usually does not work, but you got to try, I guess.)
