the Steelers were seeing if they could sign Finley at a bargain basement price and they couldn't.

my guess is he will end up re-signing with the Packers, time to move on...

I guess. They took a shot at getting a deal and didn't. Signing this guy to any kind of a significant contract would be foolish. Some players never truly recover, mentally, after an injury like this. Plus, he wasn't Major Motivation to begin with. Always had more potential than production.
