    They have good depth in a lot of areas, what they lack is star power. You dont trade down in a draft and get a bunch of picks when you dont have star players, if anything you move up and get a difference maker

      With starter needs at NT, ILB, DB, FS and #2WR...I would disagree with you.
      Trolls are people too.

        Lets say they Trade up for Watkins or Evans. Give up 15 and a 2nd to move up a few spots (Rams did this with Buffalo to move up 8 spots last year and get Tavon)

        1. Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
        3 comp. Zach Kerr, NT UDEL
        4. Stanely Jean-Baptiste CB/S Nebraska
        5. Brent Urban DE Virginia
        5 comp. Chris Davis, CB Auburn or Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma
        6. Jacob Pederson, TE Wisc
        7. Danthony Thomas RB Oregon

        Something along those lines. If they arent comfortable with Foote/Spence/Timmons/Williams at MLB they could go after one, if they want to sign Delmas/Whitner/Jenkins they could do that at FS.

        Getting a Sammy watkins would make the offense absolutely lethal

          The numbers work out for a trade like this with Cleveland...move down 11 spots in round 1 but move up 11 spots in round 2, and pick up an early 3rd round pick for our troubles.

          We give:

          1.15 = 1050 pts.
          2.46 = 440 pts.
          Total = 1490 pts.

          They give:
          1.26 = 700 pts.
          2.35 = 550 pts.
          3.71 = 235 pts.
          Total = 1485 pts.

          In a deep draft with multiple needs, a late first rounder, an early 2nd rounder, an early 3rd rounder, plus a comp pick at the end of round 3 could give us a solid haul at the end of day two.
          Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

          Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

          We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

          We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

              Will Watkins really be all that? Maybe. There is no guarantee This Steelers team still has a couple star players and others COULD take that step. I would rather trade down and add more talent to the whole team then 1 star talent. We have that 1 star talent that can lift the talent of others around him in Ben. Give Ben a better defense and all else comes together.

                  thats how i usually think.... but trading down this year might not hurt that chance as much
