You look at this Seattle Defense. They are well coached. They aren't a group of big name 1st round draft picks. They're a group of well coached guys who fly to the ball.

I agree. Mebane is one beastly NT. Plus Avril owned his man pretty much the entire night.

That would be a 4-3 defense that can pressure the QB and generate takeaways. That's not ours

We used to be able to pressure with no problem in the 3-4.

yea we can still get that kind of pressure in the 3-4.. need to revamp personnel wise.

Bunch of mid and late round picks playing hard, smart, fast, and aggressive. Its a team personality they have that the players seem to feed on. Something I haven't seen from the Steelers since Peezy was here.

they don't draft shrimp DBs. 70% of their DBs are 6' and over 200 lbs....

meanwhile, the Steelers draft shrimps, 6 of 10 DBs are listed under 6' < 200 lbs.

Someone on sports radio said Seattle drafts angry. I see it in Heyward and Troy but thats it.

Dan Quinn has been in the NFL coaching ranks since 2001. First with Niners, then SEA. He brought the SEC back with him after two years under Saban in 2011 and 2012 at Florida. It all started with drafting Earl Thomas in 2010. Steelers pick for DB that year?.... Crezdon Butler.
