Worilds didn't play badly, he had a sack, 3 tackles, a QB hit and a TFL.

Chris Carter however did play poorly, I'll be surprised if he's on the team next year.

Chris Carter was so bad that Stephenson Sylvester (a previously cut ILB) played OLB most of the game.

It's still mind boggling that Chris Carter has been able stick with the Steelers this long.

Didn't we draft an OLB in Round 1 this past draft? Seems like we haven't seen him in weeks. I know he was sick or something for the last game but he is definitely "flying under the radar."

Worilds had an "abdominal injury." Missed a few snaps but finished the game.

I got worried too. He went out a series but came back in.

                Thats what i meant.
I didn't see him in and i think it was more than 1 defensive series.
I also don't understand how Carter is still on this team either.

                  Yup.

The pass rush all but disappeared when Worilds was out, and the D looked a lot better when he was in. Worilds will present a difficult decision - he has played very well this year, but he does have the past history of injury issues.

I did notice that and wondered what was going on. Carter stinks. With ALL the college LBs, it's mind expanding that Carter is best they can do for even a back up.

I remember when Carter was selected by the Steelers. The mailman at the post office counter was so high on this guy because he follows a lot of college ball and I guess he feels he knows the players. So high on him and I thought we may have gotten a sleeper with Carter. Too bad we've been missing on so many draft selections. I'd rather we have kept Patrick Bailey. He learned very quickly, made an impact on special teams and the year we cut him, he was kicking butt in the preseason games. I know we got him off of Detroit but, at least we seen improvement with him. Wasn't Sylvester the guy that was always hurt ? Also, whatever happen to the one linebacker Fox ?

That mailman and I are equally dumb, because I thought he'd emerge as something. I never seen a guy as invisible on a football team as this guy. (Golden is close, but I certainy saw him trucked by Cutler).
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Williams number 98, I don't know anything about him other than he seems to make plays when he's out there. Your not equally dumb because there were a lot of people high on this kid.
