    sanders pulls a wallace

ben puts his trust in him to make a play on the ball but instead stands there while jones steps in front and picks it off. zero effort. cant wait for this guy to be gone.

That was pretty pathetic how he expected the ball to just fall into his cradled arms

Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

up by 10 with 3 minutes to go isnt exactly 'clutch'

if the Steelers give the ball back to the Bungals and they then score we all have to hope they don't recover an onside kick.

not disputing it wasnt a great effort. but to act as if its okay to put forth effort when he feels like it doesnt sit well with me.
if sanders would have 'made a great effort' to catch the ball or at least knock it down, (on bens int), he wouldnt have had to get that last first down.

This thread is so titled correctly. I can't wait until some team other than the Steelers over pays for this guy.

It was a bad ball by Ben...as Collinsworth pointed out, anything less than a spiral in that wind is suceptible to being picked off...

The difference between what Sanders did and what Wallace would have done was the effort given on that 3rd down conversion...Wallace would have been done for the rest of the game after the INT...

All that being said, I'm not certain that Sanders wears a black helmet next season...

                      who said it was OK?

Sanders isn't the first WR to misplay a poorly thrown ball.

no... most are happy he made a play later in the game on a 3rd down when surrounded by 4 people but you go ahead and stay miserable.
