    Yup...exactly...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I will take a win for sure - the second half we looked asleep - one waiting for another to do something. We one this game because the bungles showed up to play......

Looks like we're motivated not to pay too much for our 1st round draft pick.

I do think you are on to something here. I think there were two problems. While I'm not ready to let coaches off the hook, I may have overshot their involvement in much of the losing. You have this mix of old, and young with few 26-29 year old vets on this team. Either the players are on their way up and not quite ready, or they are on their way out with their best days behind them. We are winning because the young guys are starting to show up and really play, thus bringing up the play of the vets.
          Trolls are people too.

Wasn't some of this the argument for many to get the young guys on the field? The thinking seems to have been that we would suffer for a season or two but would come out stronger. Maybe that's starting to happen?

The Steelers made no effort to go deep on offense all night. I applaud this, not complaining. Wind and cold made this a perfect night for the kind of offense they put out there. Bell was just enough of a threat to keep the defense honest, but didn't need him to break out. This was a well-controlled offense and only needed the defense to be average or better. The talent isn't there to blow teams out so I am ok with what they did accomplish.

This is almost true. They went deep once and it was intercepted when Sanders did his Wallace imitation.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                but Go Steelers!!!

I think you are right...and I agree. We are not contenders this year...so lets see our young talent. I want to see Williams, Golden, Landry, JJ, and Wheaton

I agree on all but Landry. Wheaton needs to be playing with BB IMO.

You don't want to develop Landry...get him a bit of real season PT?

No. The young guys need to practice and play with the man. Landry has time (hopefully). I feel no urgency to get him in there.
