Because of Heath quote, saying Ben called a good game.

Right Steelhere ... and that quote was supplied in the link I posted ... but, I guess Heath is wrong.

I still don't like not having a FB in there. They put Johnson in there at the end, and he ended up scoring a TD. There were plays where the hole Bell tried running into closed so fast he had no options. IF he had Johnson leading the way, there were a few plays where he could have bounced outside for yardage.... that's one of my only beefs with Haley..

Actually, as much as I dislike Haley, that wasn't his fault ...that's one of the drawbacks of the no huddle ... they can't substitute and neither can we .. that's why we couldn't bring Johnson in for a lot of the running plays ... given the success of the no huddle, it's a trade of that worked out pretty well

No, but on first impulse from watching the game, I'd say he called "MOST" of the good plays and definitely "MOST" of the good series.

I still do. If this game is played in Detroit, we lose and the call to clean house increases. All today's game did was increase what we can get for him.

No so true. there were plays in the second half where they came out of tv timeouts and out of the huddle where they could've implemented the FB.

Ben may call the plays, but who *designs* them?

“A lot of credit goes to our quarterback,” Heath Miller said. “He put us on his back, called a great game. We were in no-huddle most of the day.”
                          Oh, yeah, that.
Remember when the little old playbook was the controversy around here?

Well, the Steelers aren't about to clue in opponents as to how their offense works, so Tomlin and Roethlisberger were coy on who exactly was making the calls, whether that was happening at the line or coming from Todd Haley. But Miller said it was all Roethlisberger, especially on that last drive.

No kidding. Everything is so black and white. Can't give credit to one without taking it from another and vice versa.

I'm all-in for that. Haley can devise the plays. Let Ben run the offense throughout the game. Coaches can COACH. Let's see what happens.
