    Venting

Season is over, but who knows maybe we win 9 in a row and finish 11-5
    Questions i have to ask
-where are the back shoulder throws we see other QB's throw?
-where are the RB screen plays?
-why don't we ever run off tackle?
-why don't we ever run any counters?
-why don't we see any bunch formations?
-why don't we run any quick slants?
-when was the last time you saw Ben throw an out to a WR?
-why don't we see any seam routes ran by Heath?
-why is Sanders the only WR that goes deep?
-why can't Ben ever hit a receiver in stride w/o them having to make a diving catch?
-why does Ben refuse to throw to his check down?
-why does our O-line continuously get hurt?
-why is Paulson still on this team?
-why don't we see Moye running a deep route and out jumping a DB?
-why are Jones and Dwyer returning kicks?
-why was Mesko still on this team after 6 games?
-why is Ziggy Hood still allowed to sniff the field?(see McFadden TD run)
-why is Ryan Clark still a starter?
    -why is Jarvis Jones struggling?
-why is Woodley making so much $$$$$$?
I have given up for the first time in as long as i can remember.
It seems like Steeler management has also....

        Here's my venting:

Can we just win please? A SuperBowl would be nice. Whatever it takes. Surprise me.

Amazing. I didn't come across one question, where I didn't ask myself, "Yeah... why?" Maybe except a minor disagreement on the Moye one. Moye is a local/camp legend for some reason. To me, he's an angular guy, who played OK in preseason and happened to make a TD grab, who people seem to vastly overrate. I don't get it.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Did Moyer go to Penn State? If so... there is your answer.

It's the answer to "why does our O-line continuously get hurt?" I'm really the most interested in, I can sort of make up reasonable-sounding answers to the others.

I have a theory it's because their skill level is pretty low. Low skill set >> poor mechanics >> injury.

                  Does that sound reasonable?

Because we're too busy with the bubble screen, which by the way, only seem to work for the opposing offense against our "let's play 10 yards off the line and not give up any big plays" defense.

So, it probably works to perfection in practice.

Hard to imagine Haley surviving this season unless he comes up with some kind of miracle season finale.

They don't have a 'low skill set'. If they did, they would've never made it to the NFL in the first place. You're talking 2 1st rounders, and 2 2nd rounders there out of 5 starting OL. Maybe we picked up a demon or 2 that is haunting the southside and Heinz Field and we're just big time unlucky right now in the injury dept. Yea, that's it- since it's Halloween, we got demons putting curses on our OLmen..
