Time for a Messegeboard Group Hug...

For the first time in Chadman's time on this board, there is a troubling, concerning piece of evidence that points to the need for all of us to take a deep man-breath & give one of our fellow board members a group hug.

For years, this poster has always gleefully hidden under our bed, with witty dialogue & a cheerful (if kinda old & crotchety) way of presenting himself.

Yet in the last few days, it's become apparent that he isn't happy.

    In fact, he's crappy.

He's a not happy, crappy Pappy.

So let's all give Papillion, or Pappy to his mates, a cheerful 'howdy', a very manly group hug & words of wisdom & encouragement...like "Pappy, stop being poopy"... or "Pappy, you are no longer a happy chappy, which makes us feel crappy"... and that sort of thing.

C'mon Pappy, come out from under the grumpy bed & give us a smile..
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.

A Steelers victory on Monday should make him and all of us feel better.

Yeah, but even if we get an Anthony Smith style 'guarentee' of victory over the Bengals, Chadman isn't convinced the Steelers go 1-1...

Yes, a rub 'n tug with a happy ending would do Pappy a world of good....

I watched Troy timing the one snap over and over and over until I worked myself out of my funk yesterday. That might be one of the greatest plays in Steelers history. Watching it over and over is sure to make crappy pappy happy in a snappy.

Then realizing we can go 18-1 for the rest of the season is a helpful thought too

This pic of Crisco Night @ your house is quite disturbing, HS. I guess I will think twice in accepting a dinner invite from you regardless if spam is on the menu.

While some of these suggestions will make crappy Pappy turn into a happy chappy, Chadman is concerned a couple of the other offers in here might make him slightly clappy.

It is a thing of beauty. But we've seen Troy do it before. I'm surprised other teams/players don't try it. It reminds me of Arena league, where the recievers get a running start before the ball is snapped. Troy is doing that on the defensive side.

Losing is what separates the real Steelers fans from the posers. If they're 0-15 in December I'm still gonna watch that entire 16th game of the season. It's all good when your team is winning but when they're losing is when we learn who truly has black and gold running through their veins.
Obviously the standard is the standard.
