Ha ha. It would be a good thing. Our defense would once again be 2008 level. Jones/Worilds, Timmons, Moore, Woodley/Worilds

I'd go with Arthur Brown if he's available....Larry Foote can't play forever. Eddie Lacy would also be hard to pass up in the 2nd.

I'll do my own mock second round now, keeping in minds needs that were filled by teams yesterday.

        33. JAX QB Matt Barkley
        34. SF DE Margus Hunt
        35. PHI QB Geno Smith
        36. DET OT Menelik Watson
        37. CIN S Jonathan Cyprien
        38. ARZ QB Mike Glennon
        39. NYJ RB Eddie Lacy
        40. TEN CB Jamar Taylor
        41. BUF WR Justin Hunter
        42. OAK QB Ryan Nassib
        43. TB DE Tank Carradine
        44. CAR WR Robert Woods
        45. SD OT Terron Armstead
        46. BUF TE Zach Ertz
        47. DAL S D.J. Swearinger
        48. PIT WR Keenan Allen
        49. NYG LB Kevin Minter
        50. CHI LB Manti Te'o
        51. WAS LB Arthur Brown
        52. NE CB Johnthan Banks
        53. CIN RB Jonathan Franklin
        54. MIA CB Darius Slay
        55. GB RB Giovani Bernard
        56. SEA OG Larry Warford
        57. HOU DT Johnathan Jenkins
        58. DEN DE Damontre Moore
        59. NE DT Kawann Short
        60. ATL DE Alex Okafor
        61. SF DT Jesse Williams
        62. BAL WR Quinton Patton
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

If you plan to wait until round 3 to pick a WR, then who would you aim for in the second then? An ILB like Minter, Te'o, or Brown? A CB like Banks or Slay? A RB like Franklin or Bernard?

The Steelers are getting another good football player regardless of how this unfolds. I'm hoping for Brown, Allen or Lacey.

I like Sio Moore, RB Franklin, or Cyrprien. All three may be gone by then.

Arthur Brown would be a stud as well.

I'll take y'alls word for it with Sio Moore... My experience with him is watching Louisville struggle with them after Bridgewater broke his wrist and coming away from the game impressed with their other playmakers (Trevardo Williams, Wreh-Wilson) stood out more... Trevardo was always in the QB's face, however, Sio is the one that broke Teddy Bridgewater's arm, so, he was obviously active, too.

Having said all that, if any of the top ILB candidates are available, I'd take them.. Including Minter, Te'o, Brown, Moore.

I came into this offseason predicting that the draft would look like the Timmons-Woodley draft... Halfway there, baby!

I'm with ya... he's moving up... per Mayock's latest list of BPA last night, Dobson should fall off the board end of the 2nd round...he was low 60's, IIRC

Ziggy Hood was not the best player on the board. And they whiffed when the calculated him as a 3-4 DE. He is a 4-3 6 technique. And I think the jury is still out on Heyward and Worilds.

when their pick comes up and if the board reads like this

                              LB
                              LB
                              DE
                              QB
                              WR

there nothing wrong with taking the W even if he's 5th. its clearly the bigger need
