As I said in the draft chat a few times, I'd love to get ILB Arthur Brown.

Solid names. I would like Ertz as I feel he is the best TE in this draft.

I would generally lean towards the offense, with Keenan Allen probably my #1 choice. Depending on how things fall, if Arthur Brown or Minter were available, they would be awfully tempting. Regardless, I think the Steelers are poised to get a good player in round 2.

I did a quick perusal of revised mock drafts from around the web (instead of working as I should be doing... It's like Christmas in April). Here are the guys I saw listed:

Johnthan Banks - CB, Miss St, Kevin Minter - ILB, LSU, Eddie Lacy - RB, Bama were the three guys I saw on more than one draft.
              Robert Woods - WR, USC
Giovani Bernard - RB, UNC (also saw him in Rd 3)

I think we will be happy with our 2nd rounder. Well, maybe not all of us.

You have Keenan Allen, Lacy, Arthur Brown, Robert Woods, Minter, DJ Swearinger, Philip Thomas, Teo, etc.

I like Minter, Swearinger, Allen, Woods, and Lacy as a 2nd rounder. I'm sure one of those will be available.

Keenan Allen or Arthur Brown would be fantastic, IMO. Could 16 other teams allow either one of those two players to fall to us? There are a lot of good players left in the draft, so I hope the Steelers don't trade up and give away picks to get one of those guys, unless it one of them is there with 2 or 3 picks to go, then I'd advocate moving up 2 or 3 spots to get the player they want.

With the way this draft has gone and some stunners in round 1 (someone took a center that was graded as 3rd round selection) some good football players are going to drop into round three as well.

                        Vance McDonald TE
                        Bacarri Rambo FS
                        Gavin Escobar TE
                        Jonathan Franklin RB

I'd take any of those guys.
Solid list, I agree with most. I'm afraid the 2nd round is going to *sting* as names start popping off the board, but, there should still be some good talent...

So, Stepping back, I'd say the choices are ILB, NT, WR, S, CB and TE with priority in that order. I would be glad with BPA at any of those positions. With that, my choices are:

ILB: Manti Teo, Kevin Minter, Sio Moore (3rd), Kasheem Greene (3rd)
NT: Jesse Williams, Jonathan Hankins, John Jenkins
WR: Justin Hunter, Keenan Allen, Robert Woods, Terrence Williams, Aaron Dobson
S: Jonathan Cyprien, DJ Swearinger, Shamarko Thomas(3), Philip Thomas (3)
CB: Jonathan Banks, Jamar Taylor, Blidi Wreh-Wilson
TE: Zach Ertz, Gavin Escobar (3), Travis Kelce (3)

My money's on Minter or Te'o.

Every year, I make a Steelers draft board.

Here is who I have available, and their overrall rating imho. There are a lot of ILBs, safeties, and WRs available in this group. There are also more pass rushing OLBs though they will likely not be considered for the next couple of rounds.

                          15. Kawann Short NT/DE
                          18. Damontre Moore OLB
                          20 Cornelius Carradine OLB
                          21. Terrance Williams WR
                          22. David Amerson CB
                          31. Manti T'eo ILB
                          32. Khaseem Greene ILB
                          33. Justin Hunter WR
                          34. Alex Okafor OLB
                          35. Jonathan Hankins NT/DE

You don't have RB as a possibility? Are you that confident in redman/Dwyer ??

How many other teams would either of those guys start for??

I was hoping for Offense in the first three rounds even though I knew it wasn't likely. We still don't have a real #1 WR or #1 RB and the #1 TE will be out half the year. This, from a unit that was mediocre last year even with better players on the roster than what we have going in to the season now. If you're going to build through the draft than let's please do that.
