    Ziggy Ansah

Question- if Ansah is drafted by a 3-4 team, at 271lbs, and a liability in pass coverage- do you get him to bulk up 10lbs & play him at DE?

I wouldn't want to take his explosiveness. I'd keep him at 271, run a bit of a hybrid system and move him from side to side.

No. Get him down to 260-265 and watch what he does of the edge against one on one match ups. To this point, he hasn't had that luxury all that often. When that light goes on for him he will be dominating.

Ansah could easily be a decent drop back pass defender with some work. His movement skills are fantastic (even at 270). He's be better than Woodley for certain.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Not going to disagree that he could drop weight & play OLB, but the thing is, watching him play, his initial punch & strength at the line are incredible.

Chadman's just thinking, if his strength is dominating his match-up at the LOS, and he's just about where Keisel was coming out of college... why not just leave him at DE & let him rush QB's all day without having to worry about pass coverage?

Switch to 4-3 to get him on the field from Day 1 and problem solved. Don't waste two years "converting" him to 3-4 DE or OLB

Agreed. If Woodley can be expected to drop back (as big as he is) then Ansah could too.

In a 4-3. He would be wasted in a LeBeau style 3-4 as a DE.

He would have to be in a one-gap 3-4 so his explosiveness and speed isn't wasted occupying blockers loike we waste our DL.

Ziggy Hood's parents named him Evander.

Ziggy Ansah's parents named him Ezekiel.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
