The only thing the media is whispering is spring is here, but we still continue to see snow almost everyday

You also can't blame subpar talent they were evaluated wrong and picked in the wrong rounds, or at all.

Not 100% sure what UDFA is referring to... but, if it means Undrafted Free Agent...

Will Johnson for sure. Arguably the most productive rookie of last year's class

which unfortunately doesn't say a lot about the performance of last year's rookie draft class.

yup, the more tomlin is involved in evaluting and drafting these players, without having the ability to develop and motivate, the steelerrs will continue to go backwards

I know you don't like him, but that doesn't change the fact it's a well-written article.

Obviously, that's why Colbert traded up in 2003 to nab Troy so Cowher couldn't draft Alonzo Jackson in round 1 like he wanted, and why Dan Rooney basically pulled rank in 2004 to draft Ben when Cowher preferred Shawn Andrews.

The two most important players the last 10 years and "Power hungry" Bill Cowher didn't want either of them and was basically under-minded by superiors to make it happen.
