    What was the situation?

What was the down and distance?

Sorry, when you have clowns like Will Johnson and David Paulson on the field on 1st and 2nd down and then run three wides on 3rd down all year that's not a 3 wide base offense.

I'd call a better game than Haley. I'd leave 3 wide on the field most of the game and I would stop the ridiculous rotation at running back. Stick with one guy, and use him.

You know? Like when he no choice in the 3 best rush games of the year?

Haley's his own worst enemy. Again, the facts ON the field prove it.

Don't mean to change the subject of the thread, but does anyone see something wrong with lining our backs up so far behind the LOS?

I said that all year. You line them up almost 9 yards behind the LOS on 3rd and 1.

They have to run almost 10 yards, to gain a net of ONE.

Sheer brilliance by Ben Hogan Haley.

Crash, I'll agree with you there. I hated the 3rd and 1 plays where Dwyer was lined up deep in a 2 TE set.

60,000 people knew who was getting the ball on 4th and 1 and he's lined up 9 yards behind the LOS.

But he's a Yinzer, so no one says anything.

Plenty of people complained about that.

Here's another stat: TWO FULLBACKS, have been drafted, in the last 5 years.

Seems Arians had the right idea along with the rest of the league.

And of course the Yinzer's complain.

Having a FB worked ok for the Ravens this year...

No it didn't. Their offense sucked so bad they fired their OC.

Then they unleashed the long ball and Joe Flacco was dominant.

                      Sound familiar?

And the threat of a power running game did nothing to help the passing game?

No, not really. Their athletes at WR did.

What did the Ravens win with all that running before they fired Cameron?

                          Squat.

Underutilizing Ray Rice is part of what got Cameron fired.

And when a defense has to focus on stopping the run, it is easier for WRs to make plays. One of Wallace's biggest plays this year came from a heavy formation where he was the only WR on the field.

You mean the year his YPC was a career low?

Nothing was wrong with Mike Wallace until we changed the offense.

Turned the NFL's premier deep threat into Courtney Hawkins.
