    A Point on the WRs

    I haven't seen any posts on this subject so I thought I would throw it out there;

    does anyone have an idea on how well the Steelers WRs are doing on blocking? it seems to me that none of them are cut in the mold of being good at blocking and one has to wonder if that contributes to the run game woes....

    never mind.... answered my own question. The Steelers only run between the tackles, so WR blocking is a non-factor.

    Actually they are pretty good at blocking, a lot of the replays point that out.

      Manny gets after blocking the most consistently. He's not a devastating blocker, but he's a fighter.

      Wally has delivered some of the best blows. But he's sporadic. Sometimes he'll make a great block. Other times he'll avoid contact.

      I haven't really noticed Brown's blocking either way. He often gets the bubble screens and has other guys blocking for him.
