More than a few questioned the decision to go with Suisham, but Tomlin and the staff knew what they were doing. Suisham is a gutty guy of high character. He did everything within his power to correct what he did wrong last year and it is really paying. He has been near flawless. He is banging everything right down the middle.

Suisham is Canadian. At this time last year, every night was spent staying up until all hours of the night to watch the late West Coast feed of Vancouver vs. Phoenix, or Edmonton vs. Anaheim, or Calgary vs. Los Angeles. This year, with the NHL on lockout, his nights are free to rest and concentrate on the task at hand.
