I liked Ryan Lee in the preseason more than I liked Kelvin Beachum and John Malecki. Now we have Beachum and Malecki on our 53 man roster (with Beachum projected to start at RT! I don't know why they don't just slide Foster over to RT and insert DeCastro at RG in order to get our best 5 healthy OL out there), and we lost Lee to the Saints.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Let someone else pay them in the meanwhile.
when a team claims a player off another team's practice squad they must carry them on their 53 man roster, thus we wouldn't be able to claim them right back.

Correct, it also allows them to carry that player into the offseason and bring them to camp.

Hence why I wouldn't be surprised to see some team sign Ta'amu to the 53 man roster on the last week of the season to bring him onto their team for the offseason.
        Here comes the BOOM!

if you had told me that we just had 3 players players from our practice squad signed by other teams I would have certainly thought that Ta'amu would have been one of them.
