The #80 jersey he wore here is still available. The #17 jersey he wore for the two New Jersey teams isn't.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Maybe he can teach #17 to catch.

Well, if you are going there, you might as well ask if this team could go to the Super Bowl with Brett Favre as its QB. After all, the Steelers are used to having a drama queen as its QB.

                  Dang forgot about Brett Farve.

Brett Farve is ok as long as he does not send pics of his private parts to masseuse..

Pull the trigger....wait, this is Favre, not Burress.

On a positive note, Favre already knows Ben's secret offense - scramble around, buy time, and look for Wally deep. We could call him Little Ben.

Brian Hoyer never gave Mary's brother Warren piggyback rides, though!

A white backup quarterback? Say it isn't so...

Steelers set to sign Plaxico, Brian Hoyer
Posted by Darin Gantt on November 20, 2012, 12:56 PM EST

The Steelers wore the 1934 throwbacks Sunday night, but they might need to break out their 2003 unis this week.

With Charlie Batch scheduled to start because of injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich, the Steelers are apparently going to sign Plaxico Burress to go with him.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Steelers were expected to sign Burress after watching him work out earlier today.

Per multiple reports, they’re also signing quarterback Brian Hoyer, to give them another healthy arm on the roster.

If it makes you feel better, from a distance he almost looks like Charlie Batch's illegitimate love child.
