Steelers playing the Vikings in London in 2013

This per Ed Bouchette and Jamison Hensely via Twitter. They'll be the "road" team, so don't worry about losing a home game.

It definitely bothers me less that we are the visiting team.

    It still sucks though!

The league was too short-sighted regarding using the bye week to help soften the impact of a too-quick Sunday-to-Thursday turnaround for an extra night of primetime TV all season long...hopefully they will learn their lesson and at least schedule the bye around mandated international travel.

Also, wasn't Dan Rooney trying to work something out to have us playing at Croke Park in Dublin in the near future? Why schedule us at Wembley in London now if that may be just around the bend as well?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Rooneys note they had a particular family member pushing for a game in Ireland. Commish believes build London fanbase better w/2 games there

Goodell doesn't like the Rooney's or the Steelers.

maybe if Ta'amu is still on the team he can drive the team bus while they're in London.

after all, Ta'amu has experience driving on the left hand side of the road...

I hate these games. Major distraction in the midst of the regular season.

Why? It's just another game. Maybe the travel is a little longer, but it doesn't need to be a distraction...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that the Steelers will have a bye following the London game.

I'm not a big fan of these games, but less disappointed with it being a road game.

Any game abroad will have more travel headaches through customs, more press, more hype, more questions, more tickets for family/friends, more travel for family/friends.....etc. Clearly a distraction.

Well....lets say it this way. Clearly it CAN be a distraction. IMO-it will be.
