No, but up until last year, he could throw to his defense and have his defense block for him. How else could you explain the defense being the only reason the Steelers have been perennial contenders?

That stat is not listed because it hurts the agenda. Also, missing is STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE. What you will find is that Peyton Manning is playing elite against tough competition (As he has his whole career for the most part) Ben Roethlisberger is playing elite against subpar competition (Like he has his whole career. Its vs the tough competition where he has trouble). Lets view our Quarterbacks stats after we play 9 out of the next 11 games on our schedule (excluding browns). I have seen strides in Bens game but he has yet to face a top tier Defense. The Best Defense he faced was Denver (Ironically, his worst game of the season). His best games vs the Jets (Minus Revis) and a Bad Raider team.

            NYJ 125.1
            OAK 123.2

SOS factored in- Ben is top 25% ahead of Flacco, Phony Romo, and way ahead of Brees.

                          Tired of being wrong?

Tired of having a franchise QB?

How many other teams have a QB who ranks at the top of all these categories?

How many other teams have a QB with a winning percentage in the top 5 all-time...with multiple Super
                          Bowl victories?

Be careful what you criticize or wish for. We've been there.

When Ben starts playing elite consistently vs TOP DEFENSES then I will be his loudest fan. So far in 9 years he has not. Not many Quarterbacks have the luxury of posting a 24 qb rating and winning a SB. Or Posting a 33 rating and winning a game to go to one (Jets). Nor do many quarterbacks have the luxury of commiting 24 turnovers and winning a SB (0. Lastly, not many have the luxury of being 10-4 in the playoffs with 21 TDs and 18 INTs.

Stat says Luck is the best quarterback in the NFL. You guys DO realise who Lucks OC is dont you? This link could be one of the biggest indictments against Ben Roethlisberger
