    Question on Mendy

Why haesn't some coach in his career taught him how to carry the ball???!! When he gets out in open space and starts running full speed, the arm is up and down AWAY from his body. You saw it today when he fumbled out of bounds (thank God). I just can't understand how someone has not corrected this.

I'd have to think they (coaches) have tried. Up to the player to take what he is taught and change his game.

Funny that you bring this up. Mrs. Armpit was yelling at the screen for him to protect the ball. Haha, love her!!!

It's gonna take a big fumble for him to learn a lesson. I mean like a fumble in the Superbowl or something!!!!

Tiki Barber did much the same thing early in his career...he was known for fumbling...

Coughlin coached him to hold it high and tight and it worked...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

He also needs to learn to change hands to the outside hand when contact is coming. I'm just a football fan with limited HS playing experience and I know how important that is. How is it that he does not have this as part of his DNA at this point in his career?

They need to show him the old Vince Lombardi clip where he was showing one of his fumbling type backs on how to carry the ball. Dang, Mendy fumbling the ball is like Lima Sweed not being able to catch the ball. Or would it be like, Mendy would just stand there not using his legs after Ben handed him the ball ? Either way, Mendy needs some coaching or reaming.

I was at the game and a couple of times I thought he lost the ball but it was just how far away from his body he was carrying it. It wasn't just when he got outside either. He was doing it running through the line. It was really scary.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

                  but Go Steelers!!!

Mendy is fine. He is surrounded by PROFESSIONALS. I'm sure they are leaving him alone. Why change what is working

I sure hope our coaches are smart enough to see all the faults us fans are seeing and have the ability to make corrections. What are the chances they see the same problems we do?

While you should be looking for a Black & Gold woman, that doesn't mean a Saints fan!

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
