I'm not a fan with a naysayer attitude, I just believed that the odds of us winning this particular game were stacked against us.

I try to be realistic, that's all and I am going to continue rooting for my favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers just like I have since childhood even though I don't always think we will necessarily win every game and go 19-0 every year.

My 2 cents...

I had a bad feeling about the game...mile high...manning...first game...etc. But, I always want to think the best...certainly dont wanna concede defeat before the game...that's the only thing I meant by what I stated.

the Broncos came into last night's game with a 38-13-1 record in home openers, the NFL’s best such record. they had won 24 of their previous 28 home openers, combined with the injuries the Steelers had signs pointed towards a very difficult game for us.

please forgive my heresy of trying to correctly predict the winning team in a prediction thread.

guess I should go and find another team to root for now, what could I have been thinking?

Pittsburgh up 13 to 0 late in 2nd quarter. Denver scores its first points of the first half on the last drive of half 13 to 7.

Denver scores again to get close early in the forth to make it 20 to 14, before Sushi seals the deal with a 39 yd field goal late in the game to make it 23 to 14
